Today i was cruising the net and checking my emails, setting up this blog and all that when i got an email from a man named Mark Hodges he runs a web site called http://www.dont-get-scammed-again.com/ and he has developed a 7 step system to see if certain offers are worth exploring. ill post the email here for you all to see...
Hello,
Just the other day I was sitting at a Starbucks drinking a cappuccino, light on the froth, and responding to emails on the ole laptop when it struck me like a ton of bricks.
I've spent countless hours looking at sooo many different opportunities online, for myself and people just like you. I suddenly realized that 75% of the time I was spending was an absolute waste because I didn't have a simple, solid list of criteria to judge any opportunity by. Simple enough right? Just make a list of the best attributes of every program that I've used or seen others use with success and make a little checklist to go buy. So, out come the notes I've taken for the last few years and we cross-reference them all and find the most important bits from them all. --------------Here goes:1) Full Training and Support: This is the most important aspect of any business system. There must be a phone number to call if you need personal help and an email address that gets answered. The company must be responsive to your support requests. The training system must be 100% complete with lifetime upgrades at no additional charge. I want the training system to show me everything, and I mean everything I need to know to make as much money as possible and I want it to be easy to follow and in a format that's stupid simple.2) Little or No Prior Experience Needed: In order for anyone to be successful with a program there cannot be a requirement of prior experience. Hey, if I wanted experience I would have finished college way back when and got a job working in an office for 10 years. I want to make money. How can you be successful with no experience? It's all about the training and support as I said before. Just like those paint-by-numbers kits you did as a kid, just follow the directions.3) Marketability: This is very simply, if the program involves selling a product, will people buy it? How do you know what people are buying? Well, it's quite simple. If the business has been running for a while then people are still buying the product. If it's a newer product you'll have to go by your instincts a little more. If you buy something and feel good about it then the chances are damn high that there will be a lot more people that will feel just as good as you did about buying it.
Competition is not bad, it means that you are in a viable market and you'll just have to learn to be good at selling your product. Again this ties back to the training which will teach you to be good. There are many viable businesses in which you don't have to sell anything. In these cases you will be working some other type of system to generate money and won't have to worry about marketing, but the other criteria still apply.
Now, there's another aspect that you need to consider here. Some of the best businesses out the don't require you to sell a product. I know, I know, it seems incredible, but one of the most powerful business models on earth is one where you simply refer potential customers to a larger company and get paid a commission on each customer you refer and each purchase that customer makes. Personally I love this model and try to find opportunities that allow me to do this.
The beauty is that you don't have to deal with customer support, product fulfillment or any of the normal hassles. You just have to deposit the checks you get for your referrals, love it.
4) Company History: You should always make sure that the company you are working with has been in business for at least 2 years. I tell most people to avoid "pre-launch" opportunities like the plague simply because if you are going to invest your money you'd better make sure the thing has been working for a lot of people for a good amount of time. This is proof that it will work for you. How do you find this info out? You pick up the phone or write an email to the owner and ask him/her. Don't rely on the BBBonline or online forums to make your decision. Those forums are usually chalk full of whiners who quit everything without even giving it a chance to work for them. Always go to the source and talk to the guy or gal in charge.5) Income Potential: Real easy, can you make money? The fact is that there are a lot of businesses out there that will make you a few hundred bucks a month if you work them hard, but who wants to make a few hundred bucks a month? I don't even consider a business unless it will allow me to make at least $5000 a month within the first six months. Hey, I'm not in business for myself to be broke, are you? So, make sure that you can actually make serious money with the business. Look at the compensation plan or the projected earning potential and ask someone who's already doing it how much they're making.
6) A Complete System: Alright, another item I'll cover here is the most important. Does the business or program have a complete system? What does that mean? It means that once you purchase the program you can just sit down, follow the directions, do what you're told to do and make money. See, I'm not interested in figuring everything out. I start businesses to make money and you should to. If you want to learn, go to the library.
Of course if you look at my #1 point above you'll see that training and support is extremely important. If you want to make money find a business with a complete system and full training and support that has everything you need in one place and then get to work.
7) Can Be Done Part-Time: This is very important because a lot of programs out there say they're the perfect part time business but the only way to get any real results is to do it FULL time. When you’re just starting out in a business for yourself there’s no way you can devote a full time effort to it because I'll bet you still have to have a full-time job to pay your bills. The whole purpose of starting a business from home is to get rid of that full-time job right?
Make sure the program doesn’t require 40-50 hours a week to get it going otherwise you can’t ever get there. Now, this doesn’t mean I believe in something for nothing... I am not saying that I expect to make 5 grand a month without having to put in any time or effort... just make sure you can get to the high levels of the business starting on a part time basis until it starts producing a nice, solid income for you.
This is so important when you're talking about lifestyle. Personally, lifestyle is extremely important to me. Think about it, if you have to spend 50 hours a week working your home business that sure doesn't leave much time for fun. In fact that seems more like a job to me. Nope, the way to go is to work with a system that leverages your time so you don't have to put in the 50 hours, maybe more like 25. Then you'll really be able to live that lifestyle you've always dreamed about...------------That's pretty much it, pretty simple right? Those are the criteria that I use to judge every business I look at and if I can say "yes" to all seven then I have a winner and I get going with it. I'd say that 90% of the time I've been dead on judging businesses, after I learned how to do it of course. Meaning 90% of the businesses I start make me money.
What does that mean for you? Well, it took me a few years to figure out how to peg the winners, learn how to talk to all the business owners to find out if they are above board, and make enough connections that I can just pick up the phone and call a friend and ask,
"Hey Brad, do you know anyone using (insert random business)? Oh, you do. How's he doing?"
These connections and friends are huge time savers for me. Now you can save yourself a load of time by leveraging my time, experience and connections. And as we all know, Time is Money.
So, the next time you come across an opportunity that piques your interest and you find yourself asking "is this the one?" Think about what you've learned here and if you can ask someone you trust about it. Then make a decision and get to work.
One thing I see holding back many, many people is an inability to take action. And you won't get anywhere if you don't at least get started. Sure, you'll fail from time to time. Sure, you'll lose money and feel like an idiot, but don't let that discourage you. It happens to everyone. Most people don't like to talk about it, but it does happen. I sure know I've had my far share of failures, embarrassments and close shaves, but you get over it and move on.

Have you had enough?
Hello there my name is Lee Merwin and i have searched and searched the internet trying to find a way to make even a few bucks here and there now granted i have found some things that make a small amount of cash but usually you have to put in loads of effort or it takes so long to even make $50 its not worth it, so im hear to talk about these get rich quick scams where you can make 1000's of dollars a day but only after you purchase there starter kits or what ever for like $300.00 well first off if they know how to make $1000.00 a day why charge for a book to tell you how to do it why not just stick with the methode and tell others about it for free i mean come on now ppl get with the program it dont add up even the sites that charge you $7 for a book or shipping and handling are not a good idea first of all why not make a ebook then you dont have to worry about shipping just let your visitors download it from the site and see it for what it really is, "but ebooks cost money to make" thats not true you can create ebooks with shareware programs that are free they may not be super fancy but it does the job im sick and tired of these sites making a crap load of money off gulable people who just want to be finacially secure is that too much to ask. I even signed up with a drop shipper site to sell things on ebay now i have over $30 in fee's because the products i chose to sell through them didnt get any bids they talk and talk about you gotta find the right products to get in that nich but most of us dont have the time to spend hours researching what is selling hot right now and whats not, and to top it off its pretty confusing at times so i decided to try those online games things where you can win a jack pot but after no luck at that and less then entertaining games that turned out to be bs as well i even found articles on the net where someone followed the so called jackpot winners around to see what they did and found out that they werent even real players on real accounts they were guest accounts winning member jackpots so it seems to me that those who work for the company are trying to make it look like other players are winning this money to instill hope in the players that actually go there looking to win that they have a chance. My answer to those out there that want to make money on the internet. play to your talents my talent is i can make applications in visual basic so i found a site that hosts full length adult video's and i made a application that will access those video's from your computer and let you veiw them with out choking up your hard drive i plan to sell this application for $10 to access over 60 video's so far i have had some success with it but as more ppl see it and i make more off it i hope to expand this little venture. ill keep you posted on my progress so you can see the makings off how to earn money on the internet
